Al-Anon/AlateenDesigned to help families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with the problem drinking of a relative or friend.

Iowa Substance Abuse Information Center for College StudentsGet information and resources about alcohol and substance abuse - a site tailored to college students.

Women on Campus: Are You At Risk?  This site provides statistics from studies conducted by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism between 1998 and 2002 - "College Drinking: A Snapshot of Annual High-Risk College Drinking Consequences".

College Binge DrinkingA website provided via About.Com - Is the drinking on college campus as wide-spread as reported? It is as dangerous as the media says it is?

National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information. This site provides up-to-date information on alcohol and substance abuse issues

Psych Central.  Regularly maintained by Dr. John Grohol, this site is an annotated guide to the most useful Websites, newsgroups, and mailing lists online today in mental health, psychology, social work, and psychiatry.  

Depression and Bipolar Alliance.  A website for support, information and resources for depression and bipolar disorders

Go Ask Alice - Blues and Depression.  Provided via Columbia University, this website provides information and resources for all types of depressive disorders.

Marijuana  Anonymous.  A twelve-step recovery program for marijuana addiction. 

Cocaine Anonymous.  A twelve-step recovery program for cocaine addiction.

Eating Disorders - Mirror, Mirror.  This Canadian website provides the reader with definitions, signs and symptoms and physical/medical complications for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and compulsive eating.  

The Academy for Eating DisordersThis is a multidisciplinary professional organization focusing on Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and related disorders. 

Caringonline.comFor those with negative body image or Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating and Compulsive Overeating.

Boston College Information Center.  Sponsored by the Boston College Eating Awareness Team, this helpful website focuses on Eating disorders and disordered eating.

Ulifeline.org.  A mental health library, drug database, mental health screening tests, how to help a friend, support groups, crisis centers, suicide prevention information and much more.

Student Counseling and Resource Service.  This website from the University of Chicago has it all!  It contains virtual pamphlets on all types of issues - you can even search by topic area.      

Surgeon General.  Get information on general mental health issues and topics from the official website of the Surgeon General.  

MentalHelp.net.  Website with resources, news, psych self-help, books, etc.
