Wellness - Frequently Asked Questions
Wellness is the conscious development of the "whole" self. A journey for wellness is a process of searching, finding, and applying skills and experiences that contribute to one feeling healthy, balanced and fulfilled. It is the effective integration of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that contribute to this sense of balance - and it is an ongoing journey to find different ways to cultivate this growth and development. There are many dimensions of wellness:
-
Spiritual

The Wellness Center at CAPS works to address these various dimensions of wellness in assisting students in their personal journeys of peace and balance. Through our Stress Management Clinic, Wellness Groups, and Outreach Programs, we strive to incorporate all the elements necessary to begin and maintain the journey: holism, balance, self-responsibility, and positive and proactive thoughts and actions.
